  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?  I joined DA on April 22, 2003 - 12 years!!

  2. What does your username mean? I just recently updated the username to match my online shop that I run.

  3. Describe yourself in three words. Passionate, Resourceful, Determined

  4. Are you left or right handed? Ambidextrous

  5. What was your first deviation? Oh gosh, no idea.  My gallery has gone through a couple of destashings.

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? Graphic Design and Character Designs

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? More realistic shading!

  8. What was your first favourite? Lots of Inuyasha fanart

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? LOTS of Mermaids

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? loish and rosebesch 

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? zambicandy - I've been a long-time fan and she's such a kind person online!

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Years ago (2003), I colored some lineart by neondragon and she gave me a critique that forever changed the way I colored my artwork.

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Photoshop, Illustrator, Cintiq

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Comfort of my own home

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Finding people from old communities and catching up on good times

I'm back from the depths...

Hey all!  It's been far too long since I've been on dA and I think it's time that I come back.  Over the next few weeks, I'll be uploading some artwork that I've been working on - as well as become more active in the community again.

Sorry I haven't been around dA much recently.  I've been lurking in the shadows, but mostly posting sketches on my facebook fan page: www.facebook.com/rewyndstudio

But it's that time of the year again - time for me to move.  Which also means, I'm in desperate need of a bit of extra cash.

I've just uploaded previews of the MLP: Mermaids that I started last month:

I'm opening commissions for mermaids.  You can chose to have me finish one of the MLP Mermaids, draw your character as a mermaid, or a famous character that you like as a mermaid.

You can chose the character, as well as the type of aquatic life that I morph them with - or you can leave it to me.

All Moved in and tumblr

We're all moved in!


We've actually been moved in for 2 weeks now.  I just had no internet for a while...

I also don't have a desk at which to work at - except for my tiny little drafting table, which is not enough room for my monitors, cpu, AND tablet.  

Due to box size (not fitting in our car) I was unable to get my desk from IKEA this weekend - but we're getting it next weekend.  YAY!!

I'm going to be posting before and after shots (as well as in progress shots) of my office on my tumblr.
